Click Snooze Real-Time Protection from the iolo AntiVirus icon menu.
The "snooze" feature allows you to temporarily disable real-time protection.
This may be useful prior to installing software that requires Internet access as part of the installation.
Note: Virus protection is not in
effect with real-time protection is disabled. If you install infected
software, your computer will not be protected until real-time protection
re-activates or you perform an on-demand
scan.
Enter the amount of time that you want real-time protection to be disabled. You can enter from 1 to 60 minutes.
Click OK. The system tray
icon will appear dimmed .
Note: Though the icon
appears dimmed, it is not disabled; you can still access the icon's menu options by clicking on the icon.
At the end of the time you entered, real-time protection will re-activate.
To cancel the snooze before the time runs out, click on the iolo AntiVirus icon and then click Cancel Real-Time Protection snooze.
To see how much time is remaining on the snooze, place your mouse over the icon. A message will display informing you how much time is left until protection is reactivated.
